Dobbs Ferry cellist Sofia Checa has been invited by Carnegie Hall to join 113 other young people from around the country in the National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America. This summer, the orchestra will perform at Carnegie Hall before traveling to China on a seven-city tour led by conductor Charles Dutoit and featuring pianist YUNDI.
