Dobbs Ferry Native Puts On 'A Show Of A Different Variety'

DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. Growing up, Dobbs Ferry native Craig Campanaro was attracted to the glitz and glamour of variety shows, and admired performers like Dean Martin or the hijinks involved in "I Love Lucy" and "The Carol Burnett Show." "I loved those sketch shows, and watching the beautiful dancing numbers," recalls Campanaro, who works at his parents store Reader Hardware at 133 Main St. "I wanted to do something like that, and no one is going to pay me to do it so I figured might as well do it myself."
