Not enough pay

Apparently, Broward College pays between $1,850 and $2,130 to adjunct faculty to teach a three-credit class as reported in the May 28 article Thirty five years ago, I was an adjunct professor of American history at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., and I was paid $1,500 for a three-credit course.
